Weekend Camping Trip at Hulu Langat

Hi guys! 

Last weekend I had my second camping trip in my life. Yes, second. Well the first one was about..8 years ago! From Kuala Selangor it's going to be about one hour and 40 minutes to get there. The location is on Google Map so getting there shouldn't be a problem.

 Nope I wasn't driving alone. Introducing my....partners? 

After you get off from the main road, it's gonna be nothing but trees and bushes around you...  

...and getting there requires exceptional driving skill! Sorry I was just bored actually :p

After few minutes driving on the gravel road, we finally reached the campsite located just next to a shallow but clean river.

Any sort of insect repellent is a must!

Just in case we encounter ermmm wild bears or tigers or the non-existent zombies, we have this shotgun!

Seoul 2013

So before I left United States for good, I did one thing to prepare myself for unemployment (while looking for job of course) : save enough money to travel somewhere. I was lucky to get a very cheap round trip ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Incheon for about RM800 (about $230), stayed at my friend's place and spent less than RM1200 (~$400) in a week. Here are some of the pictures of Seoul taken during the day and also at night, because big cities always look more awesome after sunset.

Boston 2012

Last spring break was awesome. We rented a medium-sized Nissan Sentra from Hertz Downtown and headed to an 8-hour journey to Boston for a few days and it was one of the best trips ever.

                            

If I had to make a choice between Boston and New York City, I'd easily choose the former. It is still a very huge city but I don't feel as rushed as I was back in NYC. Things felt slightly more peaceful at least to me.

NY

New York is a beautiful place and if you're not that much of a city person, traveling further away from the city should serve you better. The traffic isn't as crazy and the air is much cleaner. Everything else seems cheaper too and you won't be spending almost (or more than) half an hour finding a parking spot in Chinatown.
